Suggest Treatment For Depression And Anxiety

The past year or so I ve been feeling off. Before this year I can only remember once that I felt persistently sad for a month or longer. It was in the winter and my best friend was allow feeling similarly down so I don t know if it was a sympathy reaction. This year, my senior year of high school, things kind of went down hill for me. I cant remember when it all started. It wasn t until December that things really became bad for me. I started cutting a week before Christmas and for some reason I liked it. It made me feel better. I hadn t noticed it at the time but when I look back and talk to friends it was apparent that I wasn t my usual self. Everything just kept getting worse. I didn t want to go to school anymore and I didnt want to have to talk to my best friend or boyfriend at the time. I didnt tell my parents what was going on because they dont believe me at all when it comes to this stuff. I have stopped cutting, havent in over a month now, and for the most part I have felt better. Recently though, the past two weeks, I have noticed myself feeling sad and just wanting to cry for no reason. My close friends keep asking me whats wrong but I don t know. One of my close friends who is studying to be a psychologist and who himself is diagnosed with sever depression and anxiety told me that he thought I was bipolar because I can go from being happy and having fun to almost being in tears in minutes. I know that it usually doesn t cycle that fast because I had to do a project on it but I know there is a thing called rapid cycling bipolar.

like aerobics

3) Spend time in nature

4) Get regular, replenishing sleep

5) Spend time with supportive friends/family

6) Accept imperfection
