Suggest Treatment For Depression And Anxiety

I have a friend that was hit by 5000 volts several years ago, since then she has had issues with depression and anxiety. She was treated by Harbor View Medical Center in Seattle at the time of the event. She has a PHD in WIC programs and diseases. She is very bright, but racked with anxiety, and post partem depression, since the birth of her two children.

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. Depression and anxiety almost always co-exist. We need to find out the reasons for her anxiety and educate her about anxiety and depression. Most anxiety disorder patients think that anxiety is an alien experience. That creates misunderstandings and obsession. The best treatment method is a combination of psychiatric drugs, psychotherapy, exercise and meditation. You must convince her to take the treatment and consult a psychiatrist or psychologist. Request her to take care.

Good luck.
