Suggest Treatment For Dent And Painful Swelling On Calf After Injury

i was surfing and i fell off my board and the wave swung my board around and it struck me incredibly hard in the calf imeediatley there was a dent in my calf and it was very painful the pain has calmed down it has been a week or so but there is now a hg lumo and still a slight dent in my calf with light bruising but not much. just really worried want to know what i can do to get it to go away because my calf looks really weird
from the back ( this all occured on the inide calf of my left leg

Hi, thanks for posting your query on HCM.
After a history of trauma to the leg, the lump at the spot is most suggestive of a hematoma or blood clot.
Being a surfer, I would recommend you get an x-ray and orthopedic consult, to rule out any injury to the bone, even if minor.

Till then you should rest the leg, with elevation when possible and cold compress. This might give you some relief.
