Suggest Treatment For Delayed Periods

I m an 18 year old girl, I have a boyfriend and we have sex regularly however we always use protection. My period is now 1 week late which is odd because my period is never late, it s usually very precise. I took a pregnancy test the other day just in case and it showed up as negative, if I m not pregnant.. Why is my period still not here? I don t have any cramps or anything indicating it s starting soon. I m getting very worried that something is wrong with me.

I read and understand your concern.

I am Dr Arun Tank answering your concern.

As you are using the condom during the sex there is no chance of pregnancy.

Usually once the patient become pregnant after 10 days your urinary pregnancy test comes positive.

As I can understand that you are having negative test result. Either you are having negative test result or you are pregnant of less than a week duration.

So by this means you can wait for a few days to get tested again.

Pregnancy never indicated by pain or cramp or anything else.

So in my view you are negative for the pregnancy test, if you are feeling that you are pregnant you can test yourself after few days.
