Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Good day to all doctors i need your help since dec.till now feb.my menstruation not come i already use pregnancy test twice the result is negative. Since my first menstruation my blood is always delayed means my blood is abnormal. Then now im worried and it is ok to take duphaston tablet?
If you have had unprotected intercourse (i.e. no birth control), it is possible to be pregnant.
If it has been 7 days of the missed period, a home pregnancy test should be accurate at this point, so I recommend that you take a test.
If you have a history of irregular periods, it is possible that this is just a late period. And it could be a late period even if you don't have a history of irregularity.
So at this point, I recommend going and getting a pregnancy test and taking it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
