I am a 19 year old female and the past week I have been getting light headed, to the point that i stumble, periodically for no reason. When i was younger I fainted from dehydration so I ve been drinking alot of water thinking that may be it-but doesnt seem to be helping... should i be worried?

Hello,

* As per my case evaluation, the condition of the symptoms are due to dehydration or not has to be decided by physical parameters.

* Because what is being understood as dehydration may be a various issue as some sort of bacterial or viral infection and that requires particular attention, rather than just drinking more liquids.

* Primary assessment with basic lab tests and vital parameters evaluation are the primary steps to proceed further in your case. Do continue to use our medical services.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
