Suggest Treatment For Dark Spots On Face After Using Hair Dye

Due to applying hair dye I have developed pigmentation (dark spots) on my for head and around my eyes as well as I have Birth Mraks around my eyes. I have applied Momate but no effect. I have also applied Melacare ( around 3 tubes) every night, but no effect. Can you suggest what should be applied to remove these dark spots from my face. Mirza. 0000.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,

It is postinflammatory hypermelanosis due to a bad chemical in hair dye. Now onwards, avoid applying hair dye. It may take a long time to disappear. Apply Kojic acid-containing gel twice a day. Take vitamin C tablet and tranexamic acid tablet both twice a day. Avoid hydroquinone containing cream to apply. Cleanse the face with glycolic acid containing face wash.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
