Also my dad had the same thing last year after which he was asked to apply kz lotion and those patches on his neck disappeared in 15 days. What should I do? Please consult.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Dandruff is a kind of fungal infection and it can spread to other people while sharing common towels and bathrooms. Antifungal shampoos like clotrimazole or ketoconazole shampoo will be effective. You can apply the keto shampoo on alternative days. For skin lesions, you can apply clotrimazole creams.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
