Suggest Treatment For Cut On Leg Near Shin
I cut my leg open right where the vein that runs down my leg on my shin. It continued to bleed. I put tap and pepper towels to slow bleeding, then took it off cleaned the area with alcohol pad and other sterile pad. Then used super glue to seal the area off. It is sore and numb. There is a Knott the size of a coke can around the area. What do i need to be concerned about?

kindly get a tetanus shot.continue dressing the wound with betadine(povidone iodine)
the bump can be a contusion due to injury or an abscess post infection.
kindly get to a doctor for its draining. an anti inflammatory drug like tab diclofenac or ibuprofen is advised twice daily.
a broad spectrum antibiotic like augmentin for five days is also advised.
kindly elevate the foot end .this helps in lessening of the swelling.
