Suggest Treatment For Cramps And Vaginal Bleeding After Intercourse

Hello, I m 19 years old and 26 weeks pregnant and today after sex I started bleeding. At first it was only when I wiped, but now there s a few drops in the toilet too. It has lightened since it first began, but I have also been slightly cramping since then and haven t really felt the baby move at all. I know some spotting after interview is normal, but I m not exactly sure when it becomes a concern.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Since you are 26 weeks pregnant & are bleeding after intercourse & cannot feel fetal movements; you should visit your gynecologist & get checked. You need a Doppler examination for fetal heartbeats & USG. Get examined at the earliest. Avoid intercourse & stay at rest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
