Suggest treatment for cramps and tingling in the feet

Good evening I am a 44 year woman, for the last 4 months I ve been experiencing soreness and pain in my lower extremities (lower back, hip, legs) the soreness never goes away it remains all day and night. I feel that s It s gradually getting worse, I find myself tired at times , if I stand too long or too much walking the pain worsens. I ve experienced cramping and tingling in the feet also. I have not contacted my doctor but will be making an appointment soon.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Well, these are signs of certain neuropathic issues and this is most commonly seen in some metabolic disorders such as diabetes,of the most common causes of peripheral neuropathy, accounting for about 30% of cases.

In diabetic neuropathy, tingling and other symptoms often first develop in both feet and go up the legs, followed by tingling and other symptoms that affect both hands and go up the arms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
