Suggest Treatment For Coughing Up Mucus Along With Difficulty Breathing

I think I may have pneumonia. I am prone to bronkitus and lung infections. I m coughing up mucus, and at least twice there has been blood. The cough as been so severe at times I cannot breathe, and generally have a hard time breaking. My ribs are now sore due to the cough. I think I have a temperature, and on occasion chills. I feel exhausted. Do I go to the urgent care centre or do I wait for the morning to see a walk-in doctor?

Read your query as you have coughing and difficulty breathing this can be due to cold or bronchitis. For this I will suggest you to consult Emercency room for treatment as you are feeling difficulty in breathing and in morning you should consult physician for examination and investigation like chest xray . Inmeantime do warm saline gargle 2 to 3 times a day . You can take steam using tablet like karvol and use inhalers like vicks inhalers .
