Suggest Treatment For Cough, Nausea And Sore Throat

I have had a cough for 3.5 weeks that started with a fluish feeling (1.5 days only). I did not have a thermometer to check temp 1st few days but no fever since. I had flown across country prior two weeks. Week 2 had yellow flem when blowing nose and felt nauseous on one of those days. Flem clear in past week. I still cough when I breath deep but not productive. Slight pain in chest yesterday but gone today. Slight sore throat twice over 3 weeks and again tonight. Taking Benadryl and decongestant at night to sleep. Couldn t get in to primary care until Monday. CAN I WAIT FOR APPOINTMENT ON MONDAY?

I warmly Welcome you to HCM. I have carefully worked through your case , and I can realize your health worries.


If I was your treating physician I would have prescribed you Azithromycin antibiotic class of drug , if not allergic to and ofcourse a follow-up after completing medications.

Plus take Loratadine and a cough syrup. It is all you need in medications and you will be alright.


Do gargles with listerine Mouthwash regularly. Change your toothbrush right away. Take warm water with salt in it and do nasal douches. Take plenty of fluids and take a good rest.
