Suggest Treatment For Cough During Pregnancy

Hi,
I am 29 with 165cms height and 66.4Kg. I am 15 weeks pregnant. This is my first pregnancy. For the last two weeks I am having frequent cough. I have taken medicines like Alceff-250, Zecuf syrup, Krishna Thulasi cough syrup under medical prescription. The cough has reduced slightly but its not curing completely. Will that be be because of esnophilia? If so, can it be cured now? What will be the safest medicine during pregnancy? I am allergic to dust. Also sensitive to cold climate.

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Allergic cough during pregnancy can be treated by non sedative cough syrups. If not treated, then medications containing antiallergic s like monteleukast can be given as it is safe in pregnancy.
I would suggest you to consult an ENT specialist to get properly examined, investigated and treated accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
