General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

Yes the treatment regimen is quite right. It contains an ORS solution which is very important in children with diarrhoea, a cough syrup to help make the child more comfortable and help with expulsion of mucus, and a probiotic to help reduce diarrhea and promote digestion.

I do not know your child's age, and so cannot comment on the requirement of antibiotic therapy at this point, but the current regimen is good and can take some time to show results but is a safe and right way to treat your sons symptoms.

Best wishes.
