Suggest Treatment For Cough And Cold.

Hello doctor, I am Karma, age 47, height 5 feet 6 inch, weight - 85. I am suffering from hypertension and last couple of week, i got cough and cold. doctor prescribed me Zocef 500 and Tuspel Plus. but i am not getting well. Now i have a feeling of vomiting and upper back ache. Please help me.

Hi thanks for contacting health care magic.

Here according to history you can have rhinitis or bronchitis like respiratory infection....

For bacterial coverage you are given antibiotic....
And for congestion relief you are given antihistaminic drug.....

For vomitting you can take domperidone....

Here as you have no improvement further work up done with chest x ray to rule out interstitial or lobar pneumonia or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
If needed spirometry done for further work up.
Auscultation and physical examination also needed.
Steam inhalation also useful.

According to cause , specific treatment done.

Consult pulmonologist for this.
