Suggest Treatment For Constricted Esophagus
for several mos. I have been having a problem with my esophagus. When I swallow sometimes something in my throat closes & I cannot breathe & all thats in my mouth falls onto my clothes. My gastrologist has strected my esophagus 3 times. It hasn t helped the choking so far. He did this procedure when I had a colonoscopy last time, which was Summer.

Hi I did revew your concern,
I would recommend a complete study of your esophagus structure and function like manometry studies and barium swallow to see what is the problem
If it is a functional problem like nuctcracker esophagus than Calcium channel blockers might help.
Some problems like achalasia cardia need botox injection,surgical dilatation which you have already gone through or corrective surgeries,
