Suggest Treatment For Constipation, Nausea And Acid Reflux

I had the gastric sleeve done in 2013. I have been having issues with constipation since my routine colonoscopy in February 2017 (I wasn t constipated before the colonoscopy). The last few days I ve been nauseous and my stomach sometimes feels like I m hungry, even though I shouldn t be. Last night I had a very painful episode of acid reflux. Any idea what is going on with me?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
It is uncommon to have constipation starting after colonoscopy.
Yet it is better to know the cause what could have happened. Probably the preparation for colonoscopy could have altered the bacterial flora if large intestine and thus changed the bowel habits.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Increase fiber contents in your diet.
Take Isabgol husk in warm water in the dosages of 1-2 tsf and adjust the dosages as per the requirement as individual requirement is different for every person.
If this does not help then you can add on liquid Cremaffin plus in the dosages as required.
This will help to solve your problems.
Take probiotics, curds, bananas, activated charcoal.
Avoid all the foods and beverages that you know cause constipation.
Avoid stress and anxiety.
