Suggest Treatment For Constipation In Child

My granddaughter is 6 weeks old. She has not had a bm since last Friday, Today is Wednesday. She is drinking approx. 3 ounces of Similac 60/40 every 4 to 5 hours. Spit up when she burps but it is minimal. She is sleeping all day and up somewhat thru the night. I am CONCERNED. please help

Hi. Thanks for using healthcare magic. As per your query I would like to suggest you to give your baby some considerable amount of water and make sure it is a bit luke warm.It will help in the bowel movement properly,you can also add some honey .you can give after feeding her in her feeding bottle.If it does not works you can also give apple juice (3-4 ounces)with warm water.It has a laxative effect.I hope it will work.If not consult your pediatrician. thanks.
