Suggest Treatment For Constipation In 73 Year Old Man

Friend has bad constipation. He recently had lower bowel operation apx 3 months ago. He has no teeth to chew foods, and I have cut down giving him cheese and milk. I am looking for foods I can give him that are high in fiber, besides berries, that he can chew without teeth. He is 73 yrs old. He feels week because have cut out breads etc. Giving him GAPS diet, but not working on him.

You have problem of constipation that can solve by taking proper diet and lifestyle modifications.

Do a regular exercise. .
Drink more water per day.
Take more high fiber foods.

Avoid fermented and gaseous foods like cabbage, cauliflower, carbonated drinks etc. ...
Avoid fatty foods and junk foods.

psyllium can use for constipation problem.
Eat fresh fruits and green vegetables.
After taking this much care still symptoms are present than consent a gastroenterologist for further treatment.
