Suggest Treatment For Constipation, Fever And Elevated Bilirubin Levels

My 6 yr old has complained of stomach pain for a week. He has constipation, fever of 102 for 3 days and elevated bilirubin levels. Gall bladder ultrasound and abdominal x-ray come back clear. What can be causing elevated bilirubin? Could it be just a viral infection?

Hello,

I really appreciate your concern, high bilirubin level could be due to infection and it could be viral infection. Such infection needs to be kept under observation as long as the inflammation of liver or hepatitis is concern.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
