Hello, I have diverticulitis. It usually flares about every six months. I take antibiotics and pain meds and I m okay in a few days. I had a flare up in March and now again in May. My colon is always acting up. My stools are irregular and of different consistence at any given time. I have hard constipation at times and watery diarrhea all the way to yellow bile at others. My body produces hernias. I have had two repaired and have been diagnosed with a hyena and ventricular hernias. I also do not have a gallbladder. I have been told I am not a good candidate for surgery. I may come out of it with a colostomy bag and the need of more surgery to repair what the surgery will do to me. My question is could I have other colon issues that need to be dealt with before I consider surgery. Should I even consider surgery. Thank you
