Suggest Treatment For Constipation After Prostate Surgery

my husband had prostate surgery 2 days ago. He is constipated real bad. Can he use Preparation H suppositories? I have heard good things about them but in the warnings I read that if you have HBP, thyroid disease and diabetes, I shouldn t take it. He has all of the above.

Hello. Preparation H is really for hemorrhoids and not for constipation.
I'd recommend Miralax but if that isn't effective he needs to see his doctor since he might have a fecal impaction that needs to be removed
