Suggest Treatment For Constant Tremors In Body

what should i do about severe body /arm and leg tremors. I'm scared to take any medications that i was prescribed for sleep/depression/anxiety because of this severe tremoring . I have been basically totally inactive for weeks and lost about 4 kilos and i think this may have caused the tremors because my heart feels extremely weak. I don't want to cause a further problem by taking a medication for 2 weeks. Should i get my heart and cardiovascular system checked before taking and medications. It feels like i am almost going to have a heart attack when i lay down and my whole chest tremors.I even fear i may have already had a small heart attack or something. im 37 and my appearance looks normal/a bit thin. What specific tests should i get done?

Psychiatrist 's  Response
The tremors in arms/legs and chest tremors (palpitations) are likely to be due to anxiety.
You should give a trial to the medicine prescribed by your doctor. At this stage, in my opinion, the symptoms are likely to be due to an anxiety disorder. When you follow up with your doctor, you may ask questions you may have about specific medicines.
You may consult a psychiatrist if your doctor is a general practitioner. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor specializing in psychological and behavioral disorders (including neurological disorders with psychological symptoms). A psychiatrist is in best position to judge what tests to order in the beginning and whether to seek additional consultation of a cardiologist or any other specialist.
I hope this answers your question.
