Suggest Treatment For Conjunctivitis

I was diagnosed with pink eye almost 2 weeks ago. The PA advised that I had scratched my eye and it had become infected. She prescribed erythromycin ointment 4 times a day for 7 days. At the end of the 7 days my eye seemed back to normal and I went back to wearing contacts. I wore my contacts for about two and a half days and started having the burning and running in my eye like before I saw my PA (new contacts, not the same pair as before). I immediately went back to glasses and applying tw ointment. I've been doing this for 4 days now and I have no more symptoms, but I've noticed a halo/slight double vision in that eye. Is this a normal part of the healing process?

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic

I reviewed your history.
These symptoms suggest that the infection is not yet fully resolved and this needs use of antibiotic eye drops and to stop wearing of contact lens till the symptoms are resolved.

Hope this answers your question.
Thank you
