Yes hi, after having a cold with running nose, cough, and stuffed head, I also experienced claminess and nausea. The stuffiness and cough have gone away, but I m still feeling nauseas and claminess. Why is that? Also I have a lot of anxiety, so I m not sure it makes it worse. Let me know please

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to sinusitis which can come as a complication after getting cold. Examination with an ENT specialist will help to rule out this. If it is that then nasal decongestants, antibiotics and chewable vitamin c will be helpful. Gastric irritation also can give nausea and claminess. In such case short course of proton pump inhibitors like esomeprazole will be helpful.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
