Suggest Treatment For Cold And Sneezing In Mornings

Hi, good daY to all the doctor...i have i problem regarding my health..i always have a cold every morning and then when i sneeze my chest starts to hurt..then i cant breath for while..can anyone help me...by the way im 21..5.7 in height..and im 120 pounds..i dont have any medical history...

Hi, thanks for posting your concern in the HCM.
I think you have suffering from chronic allergic condition involving your nasal mucosa and sinuses.
My recommendations are-
1. Avoid dust or any known allergen
2. Steam inhalation two times a day
3. I usually advice my patients with this problem to have Montelukast 10 mg everyday for a month.
4. You may have OTC anti histaminics e.g. Cetirizine for symptomatic relief for a couple of days.
A few investigations may be required.
1. Complete blood count
2. Sputum for microscopic examination
