Hi, I have had a cold and sinus problems for a few days that has gotten progressively worse. However, last night I have a tooth that has broken off recently and it began severly aching. Today, the pain got progressively worse and now my face is very swollen down the side of my nose to my mouth. The inside of my mouth is visibly swollen. Outside of my face is very tender mostly right above gum line. Should I go to see a doctor or a dentist. I m thinking I have some infection in my sinuses that is also causing the pain in my tooth that needs pulled or repaired. thank you
hello, thanks for your query, infection can travel from sinus to tooth or tooth to sinus. evaluate with dentist or ent surgeon. it looks, it is going for abscess(pus) formation. requires antibiotics, if necessary drainage of pus. hope i have answered your query. all the best. take care.
