Suggest Treatment For Circular Swelling On The Sole Post Injury

MY FOOT SLIPPED IN MY SHOE WHILE MOWING AND IT HURT IMMEDIATELY UNDERNEATH MY FOOT ON THE PADDING BY TOES IN THE MIDDLE OF PADDING. IT FORMED A ROUND CICLE THAT IS RAISED AND LOOKS SWOLLEN...IT GOES DOWN AT NIGHT AND BY END OF DAY STARTS SWELLING UNDER THE FOOT IN MIDDLE OF PADDING AND ALL ACROSS THE TOP OF FOOT. I TOOK ADVIL AND ICED IT DOWN...BUT STILL SWELLS AFTER A MONTH NOW. I THOUGHT IT WOULD GO AWAY...JUST CONCERNED ABOUT THE ROUND CYCLE ON PADDING TOO. WHAT COULD THAT BE?

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:
1. The area needs to be rested.
2. Avoid anything touching it and change the footwear.
3. It will slowly heal. Once healed, you can get back to usual. If not, it will lead to chronic condition and scar might form.
Hope it helps.
