Suggest Treatment For Chronic Urticaria

Iam suffring frpm chronic articaria along time ago and was treated by desensetization, now I am 18 weeks pregnant and I am experiencing sever attack of itching and wheels in palms and soles , can I take corticosteroids or avil injection? Answer me plz urgently I am suffring

Hi, steroids are not first line treatment for urticaria. use a non sedating antihistamine like levocetrizine. You may increase the dose of levocetrizine if conventional dose is not successful in controlling urticaria. Also, try to identify and avoid triggering factor. Hope it helps
