Suggest Treatment For Chronic Sinus

i have a chronic sinus problem where i feel like i have the flu together with a mouth sore at the back of my mouth that has been coming and going for 3 years now. Its really painful. Also sometimes i become 'cold to the bone' where i feel i cannot heat up!
What could be the matter?

Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would recommend peforming a brain CT scan and a sinus discharge bacterial culture.

It may be a fungal or allergic sinus infection as it has been active for such a long time.

In such case treatment with antiallergic agents or antifungal agents may be needed.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Aida
