General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Get your headache diagnosed whether it is migraine or neuralgia pain. For that detail history needs to be taken.

If repeated migraine attack comes than Amitriptyline can be prescribed as prophylaxis. During acute migraine attack (if it is from migraine) Ibuprofen can be taken. And if it is not effective Rizatriptan IS prescribed.

Avoid stress, smoking, irregular meal, dark light, excess coffee, which are like headache precipitating factors.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
