My dad went to the ER with intermittent chest pain like having contractions he said.. It eases and then more severe. His blood pressure stayed 240/140 at least all day even with medication (oral and IV) they have kept him overnight and have no abnormal tests other than a higher WBC. EKG and cardiac blood testing has all shown normal. They want to do a CT but have no idea what they are looking for just yet and planning on having a heart cath in the morning. He has had quadruple bypass about 5 years ago and has high BP and PVD and has taken medicine to lower his cholesterol which has been good for years now. Any suggestions on what could be going on or what to look for??
