I have had headaches for 1 week and a half I had a mri and cat scan and did blood work they ruled out a stroke and said no sign of tumor. I,m asking if a clogged artery can cause headaches? my name is toni nelson and my e mail is; YYYY@YYYY thank you for your time
If an artery is blocked it leads to lack of blood flow. That in turn would lead to a stroke in the area supplied by that artery due to lack of blood supply. So since you have had normal CT and MRI which exclude stroke, headache can not be due to clogged artery, a clogged artery causes headache when it causes stroke.
I hope to have been of help.
