Dear- thanks for using our service . I read your question with care and will try to help you with my medical advise. The manometry test showed that your esophagus is emptying slow due to the high pressure, that can cause enlargement of it which is called Achalasia. The movement is good, but due to the fact that the emptying is slow, you can have bloating and slow digestion. The cause is an abnormal contraction of the nerves in the junction of the esophagus and stomach. Sometimes, depending of the situation, patient will need dilation of the sphincter. Chronic gastritis and hiatus hernia are treated with acid blocker as Cimetidine,Ranitidine and Omeprazole. Also need to avoid to sleep flat and control of spicy food, coffee and any irritants.
I hope that my advise has been helpful.
