I just got over a series of severe flu-like symptoms but never really had fever . I never took my temperature though. It lasted about 3 days. Then I got better and thought is was over and that lasted for 36 hours. When I woke up this morning I started to have vertigo-like symptoms and I am starting to feel under the weather. The medications that I took were cold and flu pills and cough syrop.
Your symptoms could be related to an upper airway infection, affecting the inner ear, which can explain the dizziness and vertigo. For this reason, I recommend having some rest and continue taking the flu pills. In case of nasal congestion, nasal drops can help. I would also recommend taking dimenhydrinate for the dizziness and vertigo. If the problem persists, I recommend consulting with an ENT specialist for a physical exam. Some blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, sedimentation rate) are necessary too.
