I have a chronic dry cough and belch a lot after eating. One day I coughed and it looked like I exhaled in very cold weather. I do take Pantoprazole 40 mg every morning. I have been planting flowers and I sprayed flowers with an anti rabbit spray without a mask four days ago, a day later I sprayed them again with a mask on. I feel that I have a slight congestion in the middle of my chest near the top. I think my problem is the acid reflux acting up. Any thoughts? By the way I m 80 years old and in good health.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Happy to read and understood that you are healthy at 80. Rabbit spray has taken its toll on your respiratory system, it looks. The cause of the chronic dry cough can be due to bronchitis. With the advancing age the respiratory system rejuvenation takes time to recover. The epithelization of the mucous membrane takes time and the cough does not allow to heal to the normal.
I would advise you to take therapeutic Dosages of Vitamin A and D so that healing is good and the recovery faster.
Please take an opinion of a Doctor, preferably of a Pulmonologist.
