Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a chronic cough and have had it for years. About 5 years ago I had a complete pulmonary workup and nothing surfaced. I was referred to an ENT specialist who put me on omeprazole but the cough persists. Sometimes I can t speak when the cough starts. At times the cough is very intense and at times it is intermittent throughout a day. Today I have coughed twice. It is fairly unpredictable. Worse when I consume frozen food like ice cream. It is exhausting. Where do I go from here?
