Suggest Treatment For Chronic Constipation Due To Antibiotics
I was given a strong antibiotic for umbilical surgery on Jan 24. Have had chronic constipation since. Now have developed bad thirst at night that wakes me up every hour or so. Probiotics started 3 weeks ago have not made a dent. Any suggestions for tests?

Dear you may be suffering constipation may be due to altered gut flora or due to low fiber diet. Take high fibre diet and drink plenty of water, do regular exercise. Use syrup lactulose thirty ml after dinner for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
