Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain

hi i have had pain in my chest on and off for a few months i have had checks previously and a ecg which all showed up fine. i am a 24 yr old female quite healthy i exercise regularly (even though temporarily it makes it worse) i do not drink or take drugs but i am a heavy smoker( approx 15-20 a day) all my symptoms seem to point to angina is this normal at my age? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for you question. I am Dr Asanghanwa Carlson, I would describe your condition as a stable angina. Your ECG can be normal when you are at a distance from exercise. You should do a cardiologist consultation and possibly a Holter ECG. I would also advice you stop smoking as this is a favouring factor for your condition and you still are very young and are exposing yourself to conditions like hypertension and lung cancer in the future.
