Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain Post Recovering From Fever

Hi, on Sunday I became sick and with direahha and running fever. I was diagnosed with viral Gastroenteritis on Monday and given medicine for the stomach pain. The fever and direahha have pretty much cleared up but now I have chest pains. What should I do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If a similar patient comes to my OPD, I would suggest taking an ECG to make sure you are fine, if it comes out to be normal I would prescribe medicines for gas.

Mostly as you took medications gas formation might have happened which is giving you this trouble. kindly visit your doctor and do an ECG.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Jilu Joseph, General & Family Physician
