Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain And Numbness In The Arms

I ve been to the emergancy room twice for chest pains and numbness in my arms. The first time I went they did ekg, bloodwork and x-rays, everything came back fine. I was told to take moltrin and eat healthy but they never gave me a diagnosis. The pain stayed with me for about 2 months off and on untill i went back to the emergency room 5 days ago. I sat there in a room until the doctor came in and said i have chest wall pain, without asking me anything or running any sort of tests. the pain has subsided since, but it was the same as last time it would come and go. My question to you is should i get a second opinion or is it plausible that this is the cause. Some background about myself , I m 27, 300lbs (not all of its fat). I work in property preservation so heavy lifting is a requirment, I run into lots of bad stuff like abestos, mold, lead paint. I haven t told my doc this but i have always had this weird thing that happens spuraticaly. It could hapen four times a week once a month or never for three months. My heart feals like it stops beating, cant breath, pressure on my chest then will beat really really hard once then go back to normal. All that happens within 2-3 seconds. And i dont have any health insurance to go get tests and/or see my primary doc, its why im typing this to you from my phone. Thanks. *edit spelling.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The most worrying cause for chest pain or any chest symptoms (abnormal beating, difficulty breathing), would be heart disease but this is not likely for you because of your age and your EKG was normal.

The EKG would show if there were any areas of the heart that are not getting enough blood supply.

The chest x ray would have shown if there are any problems with the lungs.

Pain can occur if there are any problems with the muscles or bones as well. This is usually associated with tenderness on palpation of the areas or pain on movement.

Chest pain may be linked to the esophagus (Eg reflux or spasm). Reflux medication would help reflux symptoms.

If conditions of the heart, lung, esophagus, bones or muscles are ruled out then anxiety would need to be considered.

I hope this helps
