i am afraid weather infection has badly damaged to your wife's leg. as she is diabetic she can get infections easily such as cellulitis and can spread rapidly due to low immunity. i suspect weather some tissues of her leg already has destroyed because you are telling blackish discolouration of leg . this may be life threatning because infecton can rapidly spread all over the body which is called septicaemia. so she needs urgent antibiotc injections, surgical procedures to remove pus and dead tisssues and good blood sugar control with insulin. so admit her immediately to nearest hospital with surgical facilities avialable.
