Suggest Treatment For Canker Sores On The Roof Of The Mouth
I have multiple very little red almost like tiny holes on the roof of my mouth. I was thinking they might be Canker Sores but I m not sure because there are many and they aren t really bumps. It also hurts to eat, almost as if its blisters. I did eat a bag of these chips called sabritones and it got the symptoms after i ate them. Its been about 4 days now.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of canker sores on roof of mouth which seems to be due canker sores, hot and acidic food causing injury to mucosa. Need not to worry about it. They usually go away within few days by their own.
I would suggest you to - Start doing warm saline and baking soda rinses. - Also start taking Vitamin B complex supplement. - Apply orabase gel before having meal to reduce burning sensation. - Drink plenty of water. - Do betadine rinses also for twice a day.
If condition doesn't subside in a weak then consult oral pathologist for proper diagnosis and then go for biopsy by taking sample from oral mucosa. Doctor may prescribe steroid ointment.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
