As per your complain it seems that fever along with white spots inside mouth and on the lips with previous history of getting spots on lips is pointing towards Herpes virus infection causing cold sores that has a tendency to cause recurring breakouts on the lips and can be preceded with fever and also cold like symptoms.. I would therefore suggest you to consult an Infectious Medicine Specialist or a General Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like antigen antibody reaction, viral culture, polymerase chain reaction etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly.. You can be advised oral antiviral medications like Acyclovir, Valacyclovir etc to be taken for long term along with topical application of antiviral ointments to reduce viral count.. To control fever Acetaminophen can be taken..
