Suggest Treatment For Cancer Sores

Hi I have a mouth ulcer on my uvula. It started when I had some sort of sinus infection 3 days ago. My sinus problems are gone and I thought it left me with a sore throat because of all the draining mucus but when I went to examine it I found a white spot circled in inflammation on my uvula. Why does this happen? How can I get it to heal faster? Im a college student studying human health so spare no terminology! Thanks!!! Pained studier

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that a sore over the uvula along with sore throat are due to throat infection leading to Pharyngitis and Uvulitis and has occurred due to post nasal drip caused due to sinus infection..

As it is infected you need to take a course of antibiotics like Augmentin or Azithromycin..
Take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen..
Do warm saline gargles and do steam inhataions.
Gargle with betadine solution by putting few drops of betadine solution in water..
You can also suck throat lozenges ..
In case if pain is bothering all the time and makes eating difficult you can gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine..
