Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Is a well differentiated neuroendocrine carcinoid with goblet cell differentiation actually adenocarcinoma? I had appendix cancer, that spread to the colon and to 2 surrounding lymph nodes. I treated it with an appendectomy and a right colectomy, but I am now considering chemo in fear that this cancer will come back. I have had multiple opinions and there is no consensus among my oncologists.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern as long as the malignancy is concern it is better to have second third opinion and this is nothing to loose but finally you need to stick to one oncologist only and this is most advisable hope this information helps take care
