Suggest Treatment For Calf Muscle Pain

I have had aching in my calves for a couple of years. Worse when on my feet for a period of time. It seems to be getting worse the last couple months. It hurts constantly. I have had Fibromyalgia for 28 years. I just chalk it off to Fibro. What could it be?

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
With a past history of fibromyalgia, a probable cause of the problem could be fibromyalgia given the chronic nature of your pains.People with fibromyalgia are known to feel more pains as time passes by since their brains become too sensitive to pain.Drugs used to relief fibromyalgia pains are in categories depending on the intensity of the pain from normal pain medications like acetamonophen through anti-depresants like amitriptyline to anti-epileptics like Gabapentin when pain too severe.I will suggest you see your Doctor to evaluate your pain and judge the need for any of the categories of pain drugs. In the meantime, the following measures may help you feel better: reduce stress, get enough sleep, exercise regularly, eat healthy food and limit caffeine intake.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
