Suggest Treatment For Bursitis In The Hip And Degenerative Joint Disease

I have been taking oxybutynin 10mg at hs for approx. 3 years. I also have bursitis in my right hip and degenerative joint disease in l1-l4. I was on some heavy duty meds when I first started the oxybutynin, but became confused and having difficulty with memory. I stopped the other medications and now take naproxen 200 mg at bedtime with the oxybutynin. Recently I added Cal citrate 600 D3 x2 twice daily. I had a bone density test recently and the calcitrate was ordered by my primary care doctor, I have been having difficulty sleeping and when I do fall asleep I have been waking up and seeing things like spiders. Could the medications I have been taking cause this or should I not take them altogether at bedtime. Please advise Thank you

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
