Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation In The Wrist

This morning I had a sharp burning sensation in my left wrist on the inside of my hand down from the little finger area. When I looked at it the vein was popping out and was red. Tonight the area is bruised in an up and down line. What caused this?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
welcome to hcm,
I really appreciate your concern,
I think you are suffering from synovitis or arthritis of wrist . Analgesics (Diclofenac/Ibuprofen) are given to relieve pain. Sometimes strong analgesic(such as ultracet three times a day after meals) is required. OMEPRAZOLE 20 MG before meals prevent acidity caused by analgesics .To further investigate the cause Xray of WRIST AP and lateral view is advised.MRI of wrist may be more useful in making of diagnosis.
Please let me know if you have any questions,
thanks.regards.
